This is the ultimate snack to full the gap and take care of that afternoon sweet tooth!

Ingredients

  • 12 whole pitted dates
  • 1/3 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/8 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp chia seed (optional)
  • 1/8 cup water
  • Generous grind of Himalayan salt

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients into a food processor.
  2. Place the mixture into the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. Take a Tablespoon of mixture and roll into balls. You can use a bit of coconut oil and some desiccated coconut to 'dress' balls. You can go for different versions of the above by adding peanut butter, chopped up cranberries, whole nuts or even coffee powder when blending the ingredients - the options are endless!
  4. Store in the freezer to make them last longer.
